Navigating the Mobile Ecosystem

As I work against a deadline for a proposal and do some cursory research on a few topics to complete said proposal I am struck by how little information there is out there that helps folks navigate the mobile ecosystem.   Such a resource would be of value to many – veterans and noobies alike.  Perhaps the research firms have this but an affordable version would always be welcome.

I will begin a search on this… and as I find documentation and links that may be helpful.  I have seen some initial resources already which I will try and locate again and refresh this post.  If you see anything please let me know and I will also update…

Updates:

As promised… below are whatever resources we find on the web that will help you understand and navigate the Mobile Ecosystem.  A better understanding will help you develop and execute a successful Mobile Strategy.

#1:  The Mobile Experience Innovation Centre and the Ontario College of Art and Design released this paper entitled – Innovation and Insight: Mapping Ontario’s Mobile Industry. We reprinted the Press Release from May 19 here.  If you want a shortcut you can download the PDF Paper here.

#2: An Analysis of the Google App Market – This paper provided by Enrique Ortiz of About Mobility provides some good insights into how the Google App Market can be improved (a lot of it based on user experience).
