Links for a Snowy Weekend

in General

If you are like me you might enjoy catching up on some reading after a snowstorm or two.  So below are a couple of items I starred or shared on my Google Reader.

125% penetration in the Russian mobile market from Compare Cellular: More Than One Phone Per Comrade … Kind of defeats the purpose of one device, eh?  Of interest to is the fact that the PC market is only 15%… so where do we think the opportunity lies?

Extended battery life for both iPhones and BlackBerry; courtesy of a Carleton University PhD student (Atif Shamim).

We indirectly wrote about this topic before … but we thought we would give you a better and more in depth look.  Check out what Marek says at the Mobile User Experience Blog:  Why Mobile Is More Than Just Phones.

Finally and following perfectly from Marek’s point above we want to share with you this post by Igor entitled: 9 Steps to Context Awareness which essentially covers how to “make your presence more context aware (and by consequence, more usable on mobiles!)”

Enjoy and we will be back on Monday.

Happy shoveling!
